The Story of a Corporate Refugee
For as long as I can remember, I have been a DIY furniture and cabinet maker. I’ve renovated or updated 9 homes in one way or another. It has been a hobby and a passion of mine for over 30 years.
During that time, I was climbing the corporate ladder eventually responsible for marketing some of the biggest brands in the world – but something was missing.

Then I decided to make a table…
That’s when I fell in love with designing furniture and working with exotic woods so I decided to turn my hobby into a profession.
Thus, Novità Design was born to deliver custom woodworking for both residential and commercial clients.
The Process
All of my designs start by exploring what you – the customer – wants to accomplish. We will review how the design will function to fit your way of doing things – whether that is a kitchen layout, home office, or a table.
I will then translate those custom woodworking requirements into one or more designs using a computer design program where you can see what the finished product will look like.
At this point, elements can be tweaked or the design changed significantly.
Only when you are happy with the design do I provide you with a quote to complete the work.
Once you are happy, I will begin the work of creating your unique piece.
